ax25-apps software package provides AX.25 ham radio applications, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ax25-apps
ax25-apps is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ax25-apps package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ax25-apps *
You will get with ax25-apps package name, version, architecture and description in a table
